Ellison & Thomas fill up a bucket full of water instead of watering the garden...
Sadie just plops her fat self down in the dirt...
& Rupert plays with his ball...or at least what is left of it...we buy him new ones but he only wants this one.
Jamie took some meds that knocked him completely out for 4 hours in the middle of the day. Of course, I was in the middle of my marathon cooking so I really couldn't stop when the kids got up from their nap. Thomas is really into earning his pennies & kindly asked if he could water the garden to earn some extra pennies for his bear bank. Of course, I said yes...Ellison had to go too & if there was any arguing, they would have to come inside. I kept checking out the window on them & didn't notice anything crazy until I realized that they were soaking wet. I watched them play for 30 minutes in this bucket. I kept popping my head out there, when finally Thomas said, "Mom, go inside & cook, I got this (referring to taking care of Ellison)." It seriously made me laugh. At what age have you guys let your kids play in the yard unsupervised? They played for at least an hour out there without me right by their sides...we do have a fence. The truth is we use to play outside ALL the time. I would go fishing by myself...Sally and I would go for bike rides...we built forts in the woods, booby traps in the yard...we did all sorts of fun stuff. The truth is, had I been watching, I probably would have stopped Ellison & Thomas from doing this but honestly, I am glad I didn't :) Anyway...
I just finished cooking 45 meals...a few for Sally, a few for Mamoo, & a lot for us. They should last us the next 3 months...YES!

45-are you insane????
And these little kids-I agree-I can't believe how much love your heart can hold for tiny little small people!
And I'm jealous of your fence. We don't have one so it will be a while before my wild things get outside on their own!
They look so cute in the bucket! Sadly, I am not allowed to go outside with Michael. He calls the dogs outside and then tells me, "no, go mama" as he pushes me back inside. I have to watch from the window! I can't wait to see Thomas and Ellison this weekend!
